President Goodluck Jonathan
has restated that power transmission and distribution is a critical aspect of
his administration, hence the fast tracking of the privatization programme to
guarantee stable power supply in Nigeria.
President Jonathan said
this today (Tuesday), at the 19th Nigerian Economic Summit in Abuja.

He said when completed, Nigerians will witness a revolution like the
country witnessed in the telecom sector. President Jonathan also stressed the need for job creation to engage
the youths meaningfully and dissuade them from crime. More details of the ongoing summit will be published later.
