NIGERIA: PRESIDENT JONATHN SACKS JOY EMORDI AND DR TUNJI OLAGUNJU

President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan has relieved two of his Special Advisers of theri appointment.
A ststement issued today by the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Dr. Reuben Abati.
The Special Advisers are Joy Emordi, Special Adviser to the President on National Assembly Matters, and Tunji Olagunju, Special Adviser on the New Partnership for Africa’s Development (NEPAD).
Dr. Olagunju had served as Special Adviser to the President on NEPAD since June 2007 while Emordi was appointed in 2011.
President Jonathan commended Mrs. Emordi and Dr. Olagunju for their services to Nigeria and wished them well in theri future endeavours. No reason was given for their sack.
Last week, nine ministers were dropped from the federal cabinet.
