NIGERIA: SSS EXPLAINS RAID AT AN UNCOMPLETED BUILDING IN ABUJA




The Department of State Security Services, says twelve people have been arrested in connection with a raid today at an uncompleted building near the Apo Legislative Quarters, Apo, Abuja.
A statement forwarded to us by the Spokesperson of the SSS, Marylyn Ogar, said a detachment of State Security operatives acting on information from two suspected Boko Haram elements, Kama Abdullahi and Mohammed Adamu, stormed the area in the early hours of this morning to unearth some arms and ammunition.
Ogar said while they were digging up the arms, the security operatives came under heavy gun attack but responded swiftly to repel the attack.
She added that calm has since returned to the area and that investigations have since commenced.
