ANGLICAN ARCHBISHOP RE-UINITES WITH HIS FAMILY AFTER A WEEK IN KIDNAPPERS DEN



Kidnappers have released the Anglican Archbishop of Ignatius Kattey.
The Dean of the Anglican Church of Nigeria, Archbishop Kattey, was abducted at about 10.30pm on Friday, 6 September, as he travelled with his wife, Beatrice, from Eleme to Port Harcourt, Rivers State. He was set free yesterday (Saturday) at about 7pm. However, the police could not confirm the location where he was set free.

We could not immediately confirm if any ransom was paid to secure his freedom.
Rivers State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Angela Agabe, confirmed the release of Archbishop Kattey.
