In a paper to the event, the Resident
Electoral Commissioner for Anambra State, Professor Chukwuemeka Onukaogu said
INEC will use the November 16 election as a test case for the 2015 polls,
adding that the Commission was eighty percent ready for the election as non-sensitive and sensitive materials are being put in place.
While
stating that INEC was partnering with the Nigerian Navy, Airforce and the
Marine Police to assess difficult terrains, Professor Onukaogu said measures
are also in place to check the antics of desperate politicians.
INEC also announced that party agents
and election monitors will be subjected to strict rules during the election.
