NIGERA: POLICE CORPORAL DISMISSED & ARRAIGNED FOR KILLING TRUCK DRIVER IN EDO STATE.



A police corporal, Adegboro Kayode, has been dismissed from service after he was found guilty of shooting to death a truck driver, Friday Igbinedion, at the Benin-Ore road last month.
Reports say the dismissed Police Corporal, shot the truck driver purportedly for driving an unregistered vehicle.
Edo State Police Public Relations Officer, Wole Ogodo confirmed that Corporal Kayode, was found guilty of shooting the truck driver in the presence of six policemen at a check point.
The Edo State PPRO added that Corporal Kayode, who confessed to the crime, has been charged for murder, and remanded while the trial progresses.
