A 28 year old woman has been arraigned before a
Portharcourt Chief Magistrate court for allegedly biting the private part of a
man.
The incident took place on July 28 around Gambia Street in Mile 2 Diobu
area of Portharcourt, Rivers State. The accused, Edith Duduna is facing a one
count charge of assaulting Diepreye Ebitimi by biting his manhood and causing
serious bodily harm to him. Appearing in court on Tuesday, the accused pleaded
not guilty to the charge.
The presiding Chief Magistrate I. F. Iyiabo granted her
bail to the tune of eighty thousand naira with one surety and adjourned the
case to tomorrow, Wednesday, September 4.
