TIGHT SECURITY IN OTU-OKE, BAYELSA STATE AS NIGERIA`S PRESIDENT BURIES YOUNGER BROTHER


Heavy security is in place in Otu-Oke, Bayelsa State, hometown of Nigeria`s President, Goodluck Jonathan.
 The un-usual sight is to ensure hitch-free funeral of Chief Meni Jonathan, the younger brother of Preident Jonathan which commences later today (Friday). President Jonathan left Abuja on Thursday ahead of the internment, which holds on Saturday.


Dr Jonathan was received upon arrival at Otu-Oke by Bayelsa State governor, Seriake Dickson, top government officials, security chiefs and family members who later briefed him privately on the funeral arrangements.

Chief Meni Jonathan, the president's half brother died two weeks ago in the National Hospital, Abuja after a brief illness.
