The Federal Capital Territory Administration has been asked to do more
to improve on the social amenities in satellite towns within the FCT.
An Abuja resident, Ambassador Tamuno Sokari, made the request in a
press statement signed by his media aide, Owen Udouwem.
Sokari, a member of the PDP in Abuja Municipal Area Council, said basic
amenities like health, qualitative and compulsory education, good roads,
housing and regular power supply can help address the heightened insecurity in
Nigeria.
He urged residents of the FCT to be security conscious and approach the
New Year with positive minds.
Residents of the Federal Capital Territory will go to the polls this
Saturday, for Chairmanship and Councillorship elections in the six Area
Councils of the FCT.
