DELTA GOV. SAYS LOCAL GOVT, AREAS SPEND MORE ON STAFF SALARIES
Delta State governor, Emmanuel Uduaghan on Monday said about 65 percent of local government council’s revenue is used to settle the monthly salaries of primary school teachers.
Governor Uduaghan who was speaking on calls for local government
autonomy, urged all those demanding for local council autonomy to seriously consider the issue of funding.
