Nigeria Army says it has arrested
sixty-three people in connection with the kidnap of Professor Kanene Okonjo, mother
of Finance Minister, Dr Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala.

The 82-year-old grandmother was
abducted by yet to be identified gunmen early this week.
Army spokesperson Roseline Managbe,
told the Reuters News Agency that the suspects
were arrested yesterday after a raid in Ogwashi-Ukwu.
The Army spokesman said the
suspects are being interrogated.
She added that two Lebanese men working for
Nigerian construction firm Setraco were also abducted on Tuesday in Delta State
by gunmen who killed a soldier protecting them.
