RIVERS STATE GOV. ORDERS MONITORING OF MEDICAL PERSONNEL

The Rivers State governor Chibuike Amaechi has ordered the Primary Health Care Board,
the Traditional Rulers and the chairman of Asari-Toru Local government Council in 
Rivers State to monitor the activities of the Doctor in charge of 
Buguma Health center. 
Governor Amachi who gave the order in a town Hall Meeting in Buguma said he was sad 
when he received a report that a woman lost her life while she was been rushed 
to Hospital in Port Harcourt for treatment. 
 
The governor wondered why the doctor would make himself unavailable after the 
state government has provided the necessary logistics and accommodation for him. 
Our Correspondentreports that the governor promised to work on the the governor 
promised to work on the Trans-Kalabari Road before the end of his tenure.
