NIGERIAN ENTERTAINMENT INDUSTRY GETS PASS MARK IN 2012


The Nigerian entertainment industry has been given a pass mark in outgoing year. Former President of the Actors’ Guild of Nigeria, Segun Arinze told our correspondent Johnson Ayedun that year 2012 was a good year for Nigerian movie and music industry as many artistes were able to release albums or singles that launched them to stardom.

 Mr Arinze said it is commendable that most of the artistes were raking in millions of naira and getting multi-million naira endorsements in addition to gracing the biggest shows across the world.  While saying that 2013 will be better, Segun Arinze advised the entertainment sector to be focused and stop playing politics
