LAWMAKER ASSASINATED IN KANO STATE

A member of the Kano State House of Assembly, representing Gaya/Ajingi constituency, Danladi Isah Kademi of the All Nigeria People’s Party (ANPP) has been shot dead in Kano State, North West Nigeria.

Mr Kademi was reportedly killed on Friday by unidentified gunmen at his uncompleted guest house in Hotoron Maradun area of Kano State.
The gunmen were said to have approached the lawmaker`s resident on a motorcycle after trailing him from a far.
Confirming the attack, the Kano State Police Public Relations Officer, Magaji Musa Majiya said investigation are on to arrest the assailants.
 “this evening some two unknown gunmen met Alhaji Danladi Isah Kademi at his uncompleted guest house in Hotoron Maradun, shot him dead and escape.” The PPRO said.
Mr Kademi is serving a second term as a member of the Kano State House of Assembly and was a former Chairman of Gaya local government area of the state.
