Amarachi
Nyanne, an eight-year old girl, has won the maiden edition of the Nigeria Got
Talent show.

She defeated nine other contestants to clinch the grand prize of N10 million at
the grand finale, held in Ikeja, Lagos.
Miss Amarachi, a dancer and singer from
Benin City, Edo State, got the highest number of votes from viewers. She became
the fans favourite after displaying superb performances all through the
contest. In a post-event interview, Amarachi thanked God for the victory,
saying that she intends to study abroad and help orphans and the needy.
