NIGERIAN HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES INVESTIGATE MISSING N2billion FROM NSPMC
The House of Representatives on Thursday, set up a special ad-hoc committee to investigate the alleged disappearance of over N2billion from the vaults of the Nigeria Security, Printing and Minting Company.
Chairman House Committee on Rules and Business Albert Sam-Tsokwa and 57 others had in a motion, expressed worry that this is the second time that large sums of money is allegedly disappearing in the course of production due to security breaches.
Honourable Tsokwa also expressed concern over conflicting reports on the actual amount of money declared missing. The committee is to submit its report in four weeks time.
