REPS INVESTIGATE MONEY FOR JOB ALLEGATION IN MDAs

The Nigerian House of Representatives  today (Wednesday) resolved to investigate the alleged extortion of applicants by government Ministries Department and Agencies.

A member of the House Tajudeen Adepetu had in a motion drawn the attention of the House to the fact that MDAs are asking applicants to acquire scratch cards as well as paying various sums of money with promises of employment.
Honourable Tajudeen described such a practice as unacceptable.
The Speaker in his ruling on the matter mandated the joint committees on Employment, Establishments, Labour and Productivity, National Ethics and Values and Anti-corruption to investigate the matter and report back to the House.
