COMMUNAL CLASH PARALYZES AJAH, LAGOS


Reports reaching our news desk say there is a pandemonium in Ajah area of Lagos state between the indigenous people of Ajah Ilaje and Ajah villagers, which has claimed the lives of at least two people.
An eyewitness who spoke with our correspondent on the condition of anonymity, said the victims where killed on Monday night and four houses and a private school was burnt today, Wednesday in a reprisal attack; ading that the attack started as a result of people exhorting money from maruwa riders.
He said due to the scuff shops in the popular Ajah Market are under locks and keys and residence of the area has started moving some of their properties for of been attacked.
