RIVERS ASSEMBLY CRISIS: COURT FIXES JANUARY 16, 2014 FOR VERDICT ON AUTHENTIC LAWMAKERS


A High Court in Port Harcourt has adjourned till the 16th of this month, for judgment on the matter filed by the speaker of the Rivers State House Otelemaba Amachree and others seeking for an order to recognise them as the authentic Lawmakers  to convene plenary at the state House of Assembly. 

Justice George Omereji, who was scheduled to rule yesterday on the matter, said the judgment was yet to be ready and later adjourned the matter to January 16 this year.
