Normalcy
has returned to the Eleme Akpajo road in Rivers state after scores of youths
took to the street this morning to protest the shooting of the Senator representing Rivers South East Senatorial
District, Magnus by the police at a scuttled political rally yesterday
in the state.
An eyewitness, Mercy Wai-Ogosu told our correspondent that the youths threatened in their protest that hell will be let loosed if anything happened to the senator.
She however said normalcy returned to the area after the police fired Teargas canisters at the protesters.
