NIGERIA: POWER SUPPLY TO BE INTERRUPTED IN SIX DAYS

The management of Transmission Company of Nigeria has announced that power generation would drop by four hundred megawatts, resulting in load shedding for six days beginning from today till Saturday this week.

A statement by TCN, said the rationing would be caused by a routine maintenance at Okoloma gas plant, operated by the Shell Petroleum Development Company.
The plant supplies gas to Afam-six Power Plant.
TCN assures that normalcy will return as soon as the maintenance work is concluded.
