The Nigerian Senate will resume tomorrow
after its Sallah break.
The lawmakers are expected to consider various
national issues, including the current crisis rocking the aviation industry.
You
will recall that the upper legislative chamber had summoned the Aviation
Minister, Stella Oduah, and heads of agencies under the ministry to explain the
actual state of the nation’s aviation industry. The decision was taken after a
motion by Senator Hope Uzodima, on the air crash involving a 23 year-old
Associated Airlines, in Lagos, three weeks ago.
