Director General of the National Space Research and
Development Agency, Dr. Seidu Mohammed, says Nigerian will witness a partial or
total solar eclipse on Sunday this week.
Addressing newsmen in Abuja, Dr. Mohammed, urged Nigerians not to panic
during the course of the eclipse, adding that it will be seen across the
country and in the West African sub-region.
Dr. Mohammed said it will not affect signal from the stationary
satellites, which means that GSM will continue to work and other things will be
normal.
People should
continue with their normal business
and also use their sun glasses, due to partial rays.
