ALUU 4 MURDER: COURT GRANTS BAIL TO 4 OUT OF 12 SUSPECTS.



A High court in Port Harcourt has granted bail to four out of the 12 persons facing trail in the murder case of the four Uniport students. The four suspects are: Alhaji Welewa, Okoghiroh Endurance, Ozioma Abajuo and Chigozie Evans Samuel. Justice Letn Nyordee granted them bail on grounds that their offence is bailable and not a capital offence.    Meanwhile, hearing has commenced in full with the Prosecution witness, Rapheal Ezeji of the Homicide Department of the State Criminal Investigations Department.                                
They were granted bail at the sum of two million naira with two sureties, with certified landed property in the city. They must equally show means of livelihood and evidence of payment of tax for two years. Our Correspondent reports that the other 8 were refused bail due to the murder charges against them. The court also admitted as exhibits, the photographs, Negatives and the You Tube CD of the incident tendered in the matter.
