RACE FOR 2014 GOVERNORSHIP IN ANAMBRA STATE HOTS UP AS IFEANYI UBA JOINS

Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Capital Oil Limited, Ifeanyi Uba has joined the race for the Governorship position of Anambra State.
The election is scheduled for March, 2014, when the tenure of Peter Obi would have elapsed.
Uba who was accused and recently cleared of alleged fraudulent crude oil deals, would slog it out with Senator Chris Ngige and others.

While stating that Anambra State has over the years failed to be the light it was set out to be, Chief Ifeanyi Uba decried the inability of successive regimes to conduct local government elections, thereby denying the grassroots the very essence of governance.
Chief Ifeanyi Uba said rapid industrialization, urbanization of rural communities and effective telecommunications are ways of ending criminal tendencies and joblessness.
