NASARAWA GOVERNMENT DECLARES DAY OF MOURNING FOR VICTIMS OF CLUT ATTACK



Nasarawa State Government has declared a day of mourning on Tuesday, May 14, for victims of last week’s deadly assault on security personnel by a cult group.

This comes as seventeen bodies of the slain police personnel were released to their relatives.
Each family of the slain police officers were equally given a million naira to assuage their suffering. However, the Inspector General of Police, Mohammed Abubakar and the Nasarawa State Governor, Tanko al-Makura both assured that efforts are on to recover the bodies of police personnel still being held by the cult groups in the state.
