A Federal High Court sitting in Lagos on
Monday, handed a five year jail term on a member of Iran’s Revolutionary Guard,
Azim Aghajani.
Justice
Okechukwu Okeke found Aghajani guilty of smuggling weapons
into Lagos in 2010.
A Nigerian, Ali Jega was also
convicted alongside Azim Aghajani.
The
Nigerian Customs Service in 2010 discovered thirteen containers at the Apapa
