NIGERIA: TWO STOREY BUILDING COLLAPSES IN KADUNA STATE



A two-storey building has collapsed in Kaduna, trapping several people.
The building, which was located on Hadeja road, collapsed at about 2.00pm today, (Thursday) after the occupants returned from the afternoon prayers.
Emergency teams said eleven victims were pulled from the rubble; two of who were rushed to hospital.

Witnesses told Governor Mukhtar Yero, who rushed to the scene, that the structure was over forty years old and that the tenants had been asked to vacate the premises after signs of weakness were noticed.
