Wazobia
FM Presenter, Anthony Akatakpo , popularly called Diplomatic Akas Bab, has been
released by his abductors.
The
cheering news came less than twenty-four hours after the Inspector General of
Police sent the Force Public Relations Officer, Frank Mba on a compassionate
visit to the Cool Wazobia Info Studio Complex Abuja.
Mr
Mba during the visit yesterday, said the Force
Headquarters was working to ensure his early release.
Wazobia FM Port Harcourt Presenter, Akas Baba was shot in the leg and
abducted at about 2.3am last Thursday,
March 13. His wife, Candy Akatakpo, said the
gunmen requested for ten million naira ransom before escaping with Akas Baba. More
