ENUGU POLICE COMMAND ARRESTS TWO FOR STOCKING FIREWORKS



The Enugu State Police Command says it has arrested some suspects, for stocking and selling bangers popularly called Knock Out.
According to a statement by the State Police PRO, Ebere Amaraizu, the fireworks and other explosives were stored in a warehouse at old park Enugu.
Assorted bangers stocked in seven cartons, were seized from the warehouse.

Two suspects Jude Nwaiboko and Obinna Nwaiboko are presently in custody in connection with the items, while the owner of the shop is said to be on the run.
The command further warned the public against selling or using bangers, adding that anyone caught will face the full wrath of the law.
The command equally urged residents to be extra vigilant during the yuletide and report all suspicious characters and movements  to security operatives.
