SUSPENSION: COURT ASKS SANUSI TO APPROACH INDUSTRIAL COURT!



A Federal High Court, in Abuja, has dismissed a suit filed by the suspended Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Sanusi Lamido, challenging the powers of President Goodluck Jonathan to suspend him from office.

In a judgment, today, the court ruled it had no jurisdiction to hear the matter, saying the matter is a dispute between an employer and its employee.  Justice Gabriel Kolawole held that the National Industrial Court is best suited to hear the matter.
Reacting to the judgment, Mathew Echo who held brief for Counsel to the President, Fabian Ajogwu said the court judgment confirmed their position on the matter. 
Counsel to the Plaintiff, Sam Kagbo also spoke on the ruling.
Our Correspondent,  reports that the court had on April 8 reserved judgment till May 20, after hearing the defence counsel’s preliminary objection and the originating summons by Sanusi’s counse
