ANAMBRA: NNEWI-NORTH LOCAL GOVT. ELECTION RESCHEDULED INDEFINITELY

The Anambra State Independent Electoral Commission, has cancelled the rescheduled Local Government election in Nnewi-north.

ANSIEC Interim Chairman, Sylvester Okonkwo hinged the cancellation on a security report.

Mr Okonkwo did not announce any new date for the poll.

You will recall that ANSIEC rescheduled the Local Council polls for Nnewi-north to today, following discrepancies during the January 11 polls.
