The three tiers of
government are to share the sum of N575 billion for the month of January 2013.
The Minister of State for Finance,
Yerima Ngama, told journalists in Abuja on Thursday at the federation accounts
allocation committee, that the Federal Government received 216 billion naira,
while State governments got 109 billion naira and local governments 84 billion
naira.
Mr Ngama
added that N49 billion will be distributed to oil producing states as part of
their 13percent oil derivation, just as $9.2 billion is the total sum in
nation’s excess crude account.
