FEDERAL GOVERNMENT FLAGS OFF DUALIZATION PROJECT OF THE BENIN-ABUJA HIGHWAY

Minister of Works, Mike Onolememen has formally flagged off the dualization of the Benin-Auchi-Abuja highway. At the ceremony, Mr Onolememen said the project will be executed in four phases with a thirty month deadline.

 The Works Minister expressed belief that the project will be completed on schedule, to ease the burden of motorists and commuters on the route.   

The twenty-two-point-seven-billion-naira project said the Obajana to Okene section will gulp eleven-point-six-six-three-billion naira while Okene to Auchi will take eleven-point-zero-eight-six-billion naira.
