Chairman
of the DELSU chapter of ASUU, Dr Emmanuel Mordi condemned the act, saying that
the kidnappers later contacted a close member of the Mokobia family requesting
for 20million naira ransom.
Dr Mordi said while the security agencies investigate
the matter, the host community Obiaruku equally has a moral duty to fish out
the hoodlums and ensure the security of Dr Mokobia, as well as all lecturers
resident in the locality.
