The National Working Committee of
the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP has suspended the Sokoto State Governor,
Aliyu Wamako.

Announcing this today, National
Publicity Secretary of the Party, Olisa Metu said the decision was taken at the
end of the 338th meeting of the party.
The communiqué said Wamako
repeatedly violated and disregarded the PDP constitution.
While describing it as total
apathy, the PDP added that the Sokoto State Governor ignored invitations and
lawful directives of the National Working Committee on several occasions.
The matter was however referred to
the relevant disciplinary committee of the party.
