Nigeria's President Goodluck Jonathan has just approved
the suspension of the Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Mallam Lamido
Sanusi Lamido.

He immediately appointed Dr. Sarah Alade, Acting Governor.
Presidential Spokesman Reuben Abati who disclosed this
on his twitter handle: @abat1990, said details will be published later.
You will recall that the CBN Governor has been enmeshed
in controversy with the NNPC and Ministry of Finance over the missing Crude oil
revenue.
