Lagos State Governor Babatunde Fashola says his administration will partner with law enforcement agents to ensure greater enforcement of measures put in place to prevent unauthorized storage of fireworks.
He said this yesterday when he received the report of the panel of inquiry set up to look into the fires that razed parts of Ojo-Giwa and Okoya markets in Lagos on December 26, 2012. Governor Fashola said such collaboration is necessary to prevent fire outbreaks and enhance the safety of the people’s lives and property in the state.
